Dear Amnesty members and supporters:
Apologies for this last minute notice, but the holidays--wonderfully busy and chaotic for Ken and me--have made us slower than ever in making plans about what's important. 

Next week is the 10th anniversary of the the opening of Guantanamo.  Unfortunately, we aren't free on Tuesday, the exact anniversary date, but we're planning a short, informal vigil the next day--Wednesday, 1/12/2011--from 5-6, at Hart Plaza. We'll bring the big blue banner that two years ago we'd hoped to retire and maybe some candles in jars. We'll hope to get some attention from Auto Show and after work traffic.  It would be lovely if anyone else was able to come--with signs if you like. 

Absolutely no need to feel that you should come at such short notice; we'll know you're with us in spirit....
